Move funds from Gnosis Pay
Q: I can’t sign a message to move funds from my Gnosis Pay address. What should I do?
Short answer:
This is not possible through the Monerium interface. Use:
- Gnosis Pay app: "Send funds"
- Zeal wallet: "Card > Withdraw"
ℹ️ To off-ramp, send funds to a wallet you fully control, click the + Add button to add that wallet to your Monerium profile, then off-ramp from there.
Long answer:
Gnosis Pay addresses are special because they use a single, fixed signer (0x000...0002 ) for all transactions.
This setup enables a 3-minute delay module, designed to protect against double-spending. Because of this, you can’t sign messages manually from a Gnosis Pay address like you would from a regular Safe. More on this: How is the Gnosis Card self-custodial?
If you want to move funds from your Gnosis Pay card, you currently have two options:
Use the official app: Gnosis Pay app
Use Zeal Wallet: A supported wallet that integrates with Gnosis Pay.
Due to its customized smart-contract-based design, these are currently the only ways to move funds from your Gnosis Pay address.
