Move funds from Picnic
I can’t sign a message to move funds from my Picnic address. What should I do?
The easiest way is to use the Picnic application.
A Picnic address is a Safe{Wallet} smart contract, and the sole signer of that smart contract is generated from your Picnic login information, so you don't have to manage private keys.
However, Picnic does offer a way to take complete control of the signer.
Taking control of the Picnic address.
You can treat the Picnic Safe like any other Safe. Once you've exported the signer, you can import it into your preferred wallet and use it to interact with the Picnic Safe directly.
Steps to Export the Signer from Picnic:
- In the top-right corner of the Picnic interface, click on your avatar.
- Select Security - Export private key.
- Follow the instructions to retrieve the private key.
Import this private key into the wallet of your choice (e.g., MetaMask, Rabby).
